A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Principal Facilities Representative Level 3 or Senior Principal Facilities Representative Level 4 to support our Facility Team on site at our Palmdale, California location. This position will follow a 4/10 or 9/80 work Schedule.
Job Duties:
  • Acting as primary Liaison for Subcontractors/Vendors to plan and facilitate support of facilities maintenance efforts.
  • Identifying funding and collaborating with Global Supply Chain (GSC) for Purchase Order (PO) creation and maintenance.
  • Partnering with Cost Management to establish budget forecasts, and regular updates to Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Complete (EAC).
  • Monitoring and facilitating timely completion of LX Training for Facilities Maintenance Technicians and Subcontractors/Vendors
  • Making purchases for the Facilities Maintenance Team, via Purchase Card
  • Processing Subcontractor/Vendor badge requests
  • Other tasks as assigned This position may be filled as either a Principal Facilities Representative Level 3 or Senior Principal Facilities Representative Level 4. Basic Qualifications for Principal Facilities Representative Level 3:
  • Bachelor's degree in 5 years of related work experience or a Masters Degree with 3 years stated experience;
NOTE:
An additional 3 years of applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree
  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Accesses
  • Familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have experience collaborating with workers, contractors, management, and customers to meet project requirements.
  • Must have ability to work with minimal supervision Basic Qualifications for Senior Principal Facilities Representative Level 3:
  • Bachelor's degree in 8 years of related work experience or a Masters Degree with 6 years stated experience;
NOTE:
An additional 3 years of applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree
  • Must have an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Accesses
  • Familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Must have experience collaborating with workers, contractors, management, and customers to meet project requirements.
  • Must have ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Maximo (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Experience with MS SharePoint
  • Experience with SAP

Primary Level Salary Range:
$94,200.00 - $141,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$117,500.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
