Commercial Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader/Driver Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader/Driver to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of commercial maintenance experience as a lead and a strong work ethic. As a Crew Leader/Driver, you will be responsible for leading a team, driving to job sites, and ensuring the successful execution of landscape maintenance projects. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Supervising a team of landscape maintenance crew members. Performing routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning. Overseeing the care and maintenance of plantings, trees, and shrubs. Applying fertilizers and pesticides in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines. Irrigation system management, including repairs and adjustments. Identifying and addressing landscape issues such as pest infestations, disease, and irrigation problems. Operating and maintaining landscape equipment and machinery. Ensuring all work is performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Keeping accurate records of work completed and materials used. Communicating with clients and addressing their needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record. Reliable transportation to and from the job site or company shop (Rancho Cordova location). Physical fitness and capability for heavy lifting, working in various weather conditions, and on hilly terrain. A great attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A quick learner who is eager to grow and adapt. Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus and may result in additional pay. Full-time availability with a commitment to building a long-term working relationship.
