Job Overview:
Responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of the hotel. You will ensure that our property's mechanical equipment and aesthetic details are always in perfect working order for our guests.
Essential Duties:
Maintaining the exterior of the building, parking lot, common areas, and all equipment in guest rooms. Conducting safety inspections and ongoing room preventative maintenance. Reviewing maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders to prioritize and schedule work. Servicing the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters. Repairing doors, locks, closets, electrical equipment, control circuits, and refrigeration equipment. Coordinating with local health, safety, fire, and building inspectors to ensure compliance with codes. Maintaining logs and obtaining estimates for repair parts.
Qualifications:
Must have overall maintenance knowledge, strong troubleshooting ability, and skills in painting, HVAC, and carpentry. Willing to respond to property emergencies, even if after hours. Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 90 pounds and frequently up to 25 pounds. Required to work holidays and weekends. Pay rage depending on experience.
