$88K-$100K/yr Updated 08/24/2026 Job Description Overview $88K-$100K/yr Job Summary About Mile-Hi Skydiving Mile-Hi Skydiving is Colorado's largest and most established skydiving operation, with the only full-time drop zone within 100 miles of Denver and Boulder. Located just 12 miles from Boulder in Longmont, Colorado, Mile-Hi has been sending people into the sky for over 28 years and now executes more than 35,000 jumps annually across a fleet of three aircraft. Position Overview We are accepting applications for a full-time, hands-on Supervisor of Maintenance (SOM) with a current Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and Inspection Authorization (IA). This salaried position is available immediately. We are seeking a well-rounded, energetic aviation maintenance professional to lead the maintenance department for a small but busy skydiving operation. Our aircraft include King Air E-90s, a DHC-6 Twin Otter, and a Cessna TU206B. Requirements Qualifications & Experience
  • Current A&P certificate and current IA.
  • Pratt & Whitney PT6 engine rigging and troubleshooting experience is required.
  • King Air and Twin Otter experience is preferred.
  • Strong electrical and aircraft systems troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Sheet metal experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the maintenance function while remaining actively involved in hands-on aircraft maintenance. Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and scheduled maintenance on company aircraft.
  • Order, receive, and manage parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Maintain maintenance tracking and coordinate inspection schedules.
  • Perform and supervise aircraft maintenance and inspections.
  • Complete major repairs and alterations as required.
  • Maintain accurate aircraft logbooks and Airworthiness Directive (AD) compliance records.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the FAA on maintenance-related matters.
