The strategic role of the Director of Capital Program Development oversees enterprise-wide Facilities and Real Estate capital program development and management for Yale New Haven Health, including clinical and administrative campuses and facilities. The Director leads Facilities and Real Estate's capital program in alignment with strategic direction from clinical and corporate leadership, partnering across the system to translate institutional goals into actionable investment plans that support long-term priorities, asset lifecycle planning, and financial stewardship. The Director of Capital Program Development reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Facilities, Real Estate and System Design. Implements an asset management framework to inform prioritization, investment timing, facility disposition, and lifecycle replacement planning. Collaborates with Finance, Strategy, Facilities, and operational leaders to evaluate and prioritize investments based on clinical, financial, and operational impact. Serves as a thought partner to executive leadership, delivering insights through capital planning analytics, portfolio performance metrics, and data-driven investment scenarios. Coordinates with Planning, Design & Construction to align project execution with long-term strategic plans, ensuring efficient resource deployment and avoidance of redundant investment. Maintains governance documentation, capital request records, and facilities design standards to ensure process integrity, transparency, and compliance.
