Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Building Superintendent to lead the maintenance and operational excellence of our facilities. Duties Supervise and coordinate facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Manage maintenance repair procedures using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, schedules, and asset histories. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical systems, electrical issues (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and industrial equipment using schematics, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Oversee safety compliance by implementing OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and conducting regular safety inspections to promote a secure work environment. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system repairs, safety inspections, and facility modifications while ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Collaborate with project management teams on facilities improvement projects, upgrades to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or system installations. Lead facility management initiatives by managing vendor relationships, procurement of parts/materials, and ensuring high standards of quality in all maintenance activities. Requirements Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams within manufacturing or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), and mechanical equipment. Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring, mechanical systems troubleshooting, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite for reporting and communication purposes; experience with CMMS software is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations along with the ability to enforce safety procedures effectively across teams. Experience managing facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution with excellent project management skills. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals; experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders effectively.
