Apartment Community in Gainesville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, facilities management, and leadership. This role requires expertise in managing maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to enhance operational efficiency. Responsibilities Supervise and lead the maintenance team, providing guidance and support for daily operations. Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to optimize equipment performance and reliability. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while performing maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical equipment. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas requiring maintenance or improvement. Manage projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, or installations while coordinating with other departments as necessary. Able to rotate on call and work weekends when necessary. HVAC a must. Other duties assigned by manager/supervisor Experience Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to electrical and mechanical systems. Familiarity with project management principles as they relate to facility operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
