Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the maintenance team to ensure all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and enhance guest satisfaction. Oversee the repair and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Manage the department's budget, optimizing resources to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve maintenance-related issues promptly and effectively. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and hotel policies, fostering a safe environment for guests and staff. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of projects and repairs.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems with blueprint reading abilities.
Certifications:
Requires specific credentials like an HVAC or universal refrigerant license.
Experience:
Prior supervisory or hands-on trade experience within the hospitality or facility management industry.
