Job Description

Job Summary

STS Aviation Services is hiring Aircraft Maintenance Production Supervisors in Melbourne, Florida. In this leadership role, you'll oversee a dedicated maintenance crew and ensure all assigned tasks meet FAA regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and a hands-on leadership style to guide operations efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision over assigned maintenance personnel and tasks.

Ensure maintenance work and documentation comply with FAA regulations and customer maintenance programs.

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and manage shift schedules.

Evaluate and estimate labor and material costs for maintenance projects.

Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance flow plans.

Identify and address training needs, tooling requirements, and special equipment needs.

Co-sign for maintenance performed by uncertificated personnel when required.

Ensure proper execution and documentation of all work performed.

Supervise unfamiliar personnel in proper methods, techniques, tools, and procedures.

Maintain daily turnover reports to ensure shift-to-shift continuity.

Maintain a clean, organized hangar and work environment at all times.

Position Requirements

Prior leadership experience in an FAA Part 145 repair station or equivalent environment preferred.

Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance practices, and inspection procedures.

Excellent communication and team coordination skills.

Ability to evaluate labor, time, and resources for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.

Experience supervising uncertificated personnel under FAA regulations.
