FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Naples Airport Authority serves the community with a purpose of providing a safe, efficient and financially sustainable airport that best serves the overall interests of the community.THE POSITION
We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead the team responsible for maintaining the buildings, grounds and facilities that support Naples Airport. This hands-on leadership position oversees daily maintenance activities, preventive maintenance, projects and contractors while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. Some of the position duties include: Supervises daily facilities maintenance operations and employees. Assigns and inspects work and coordinates schedules and priorities. Oversees preventive maintenance, work orders and asset management activities. Coordinates maintenance projects and contractor activities. Identifies maintenance and safety concerns and ensures appropriate corrective action. Trains, coaches and develops Facilities Maintenance employees. Supports airport operations during emergencies, outages and other operational needs.REQUIREMENTS
Associate degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience considered. Minimum seven years of progressively responsible facilities, building, construction or maintenance experience, including leadership or supervisory experience. Advanced knowledge of facilities maintenance, building systems, preventive maintenance and skilled trades. Experience coordinating maintenance operations, projects and contractors. Proficiency with computer applications and work order/asset management systems. Working knowledge of FAA and OSHA requirements; OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification required within 90 days. Valid Florida driver's license with driving record meeting Authority standards. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
