Job Description

The Maintenance Manager provides leadership and oversight for all maintenance and landscaping operations related to the physical upkeep of the hotel and its outlets. This role is responsible for supervising daily maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the property operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.
Essential Functions:
Oversee the physical operations of the property, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, electrical systems, and grounds/landscaping. Operate and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS), identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions. Execute and maintain the property's preventative maintenance program. Develop and manage energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs. Create and lead emergency response programs and conduct regular safety inspections and drills. Ensure compliance with all local codes, regulations, and safety standards. Maintain detailed operational records for auditing and efficiency. Train and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Hire, schedule, and evaluate maintenance personnel performance. Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program and oversee departmental administration. Develop and manage the departmental budget in alignment with organizational guidelines. Manage vendor relationships and oversee competitive bidding processes. These physical demands represent the physical requirements necessary for an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Standing for extended periods Pushing, pulling, lifting, shoveling, reaching, and grabbing Regularly lifting up to 55 lbs; occasionally exerting up to 100 lbs during MOD shifts
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree or Technical School diploma preferred Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Travel Local and regional travel is required resulting in overnight trips. This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid Driver's license. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver's license upon being hired.
