Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, manage repair procedures, and coordinate projects to maintain a safe and efficient environment. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams, ensuring timely completion of maintenance repair procedures across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan. Oversee troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage components—and HVAC systems. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting safety audits, facilitating safety training sessions, and maintaining a safe work environment. Read schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting guides to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Manage projects related to facilities improvements or repairs, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets effectively. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance using Microsoft Office tools or specialized facilities management software. Skills Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or commercial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage—and engineering troubleshooting. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical testing. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for industrial maintenance environments. Experience managing facilities maintenance management programs using CMMS platforms. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Effective team management skills combined with strong leadership qualities to motivate staff and foster a safety-conscious culture.
