- Oversees and directs the daily maintenance, repair, and functionality of the residential buildings.
- Managing maintenance staff.
- Responding to resident service requests.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections.
- Scheduling and performing routine maintenance inspections.
- HVAC diagnosis and repair.
- Knowledge in plumbing, electrical and fire/life safety.
- Knowledge in new construction, warranty processing and record keeping.
- Training maintenance team to perform to their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facilities management is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants and prospects
- Ability to diagnose and solve resident maintenance concerns; while resolving conflicts with tenants diplomatically
- Understanding of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to rental properties
- Proficiency in using property management software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in work order completion and notes.
