Job Description
Job description Auto Credit Center is opening a brand-new, state-of-the-art dealership in Port Richey, and we need one experienced service professional to run the service and reconditioning department from day one. You're not building from scratch. We've spent 30 years refining our recon and service processes across at dealerships, and they work. You'll be trained on those proven processes, then trusted to run them with the skills and judgment you bring. As volume grows, this role splits into separate Service Manager, Service Advisor, and Recon Manager positions, and you'll have first pick of which lane you want. What you'll own Reconditioning flow: move inventory through inspection, repair, and detail and onto the lot on schedule Parts ordering and vendor relationships Sublet coordination (tires, glass, paint and body) Warranty claim filing and follow-through Supervising our technicians and monitoring efficiency Recon write-ups Customer service write-ups as our customer base builds (light at first) What we're looking for 3+ years of dealership or independent shop service writing, service management, or recon management Someone who can supervise techs and keep them productive without micromanaging Strong organizational skills. You'll be juggling recon, parts, and vendors at the same time untill there is enough work load to warrant additional team members. Comfortable with shop management software and accurate on a keyboard Follows a proven process and executes it well, and speaks up when something can be done better Takes ownership. If something's stuck, you unstick it. Reliable, consistent, and calm under pressure Pay and schedule $60,000 to $80,000 per hour depending on experience. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
