Job Description
Maintenance Director - Assisted Living Full-Time | $25-$28 per Hour | Weekly Pay | Benefits Available An established Assisted Living Community is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and appearance of our community. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community. Perform and coordinate preventative maintenance for the building, equipment, and grounds. Ensure the community remains safe, clean, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance issues. Coordinate and supervise outside contractors and vendors as needed. Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and work orders. Conduct routine safety inspections and respond promptly to maintenance requests. Assist with emergency preparedness and participate in on-call responsibilities when necessary. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Qualifications Previous maintenance leadership experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Healthcare, Hospitality, or a similar environment preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond quickly to urgent maintenance needs. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
