Full Job Description Maintenance Director Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our facility's operations team, the Maintenance Director will be responsible for managing the daily and preventative maintenance program, supervising and supporting the maintenance staff, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. If you have a strong background in maintenance leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional service, we encourage you to apply.
Requirements:
Experienced as a Maintenance leader in a healthcare facility Working knowledge of the operations and maintenance of water heaters, HVAC units, and kitchen equipment Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and support the maintenance staff, ensuring efficient and competent service Conduct daily facility inspections Manage and adhere to maintenance budgets Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical equipment, including water heaters, HVAC units, kitchen equipment, etc. Perform or supervise various maintenance functions such as installations, carpentry, furnace and air conditioner repairs, plumbing and appliance repairs, drywall and painting repairs, minor roof repairs, and more Maintain control of maintenance storage and mechanical rooms Ensure proper use and care of all tools, equipment, and vehicles
