Job Description

Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead day-to-day building maintenance for a commercial real estate portfolio. You will supervise technicians and vendors, plan preventive and corrective work, manage CMMS, and ensure reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems. The role includes budgeting, tracking work orders, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, codes, and company standards. You will partner with property and project teams to support client goals, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives in a performance-driven, client-focused environment. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across assigned commercial properties Supervise and schedule maintenance technicians and external vendors Manage preventive and corrective maintenance using CMMS systems Ensure reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems Monitor compliance with OSHA, local codes, and JLL standards Develop and track maintenance budgets and cost-saving initiatives Coordinate maintenance support for tenant fit-outs and capital projects Respond to building emergencies and critical equipment issues Support sustainability, energy efficiency, and asset-preservation goals Prepare maintenance reports and communicate performance to property leadership Required Skills Facilities maintenance management HVAC systems Electrical and mechanical systems Building automation systems (BAS) Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Vendor and contract management Budgeting and cost control Regulatory and safety compliance Project management Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting
