Full-Time Handyman / Maintenance Technician & Property Manager We are currently hiring a Full-Time Handyman / Maintenance Technician & Property Manager to join our growing team! Locations Illinois 117 South Elder Lane, Decatur, IL Ohio East Cleveland, OH 44112 Mississippi Jackson, MS 39204
Pay Decatur, IL & Jackson, MS:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience)
East Cleveland, OH:
$16.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience) Job ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Technician / Handyman Duties Perform general property maintenance and repairs. Handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, flooring, drywall, and general troubleshooting. Complete maintenance work orders efficiently and professionally. Inspect properties and identify repair or maintenance needs. Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Property Manager Duties Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned rental properties. Coordinate maintenance requests and ensure repairs are completed promptly. Communicate with tenants regarding maintenance concerns, move-ins, move-outs, and lease-related matters. Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure properties are well maintained. Schedule and coordinate contractors and vendors when necessary. Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and property updates. Help prepare vacant units for new tenants. Respond professionally to tenant inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Assist with coordinating property improvements and ongoing maintenance projects. Qualifications Experience in maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, or related trades preferred. Previous property management or maintenance coordination experience is a plus. Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues independently. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently. Reliable, dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented. Valid driver's license preferred. Basic knowledge of smartphones, email, and work order management systems is a plus. Why Join Our Team?
