The Assistant Maintenance Manager will serve as the Maintenance Manager's right hand and play a key role in the day-to-day operation, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities in and around the Facility. While hands-on maintenance knowledge is important, the ability to organize information, track work, and utilize technology will be equally important.
Scope of Duties & Qualifications:
Assist and work alongside Maintenance Manager. Electrical troubleshooting on low voltage control circuits both AC and DC, Diagnosing, Installing and programming of VFD drives, etc. Analyze and recommend measures to improve production methods and equipment performance. Troubleshooting single phase and three phase high power circuits. Preventative maintenance and or repair of all process machinery, Pumps, Mixers, Holding Tanks, Motors and Compressors. Coordinate and place purchase orders as needed with outside Vendors. Maintain integrity of facility. Organize/Maintain maintenance department in a clean, safe manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS
High School diploma or equivalent. Computer savvy and comfortable working with Maintenance Management Software (Fixx). Electrical skills with knowledge of 480/3 phase. Wiring of switches and sensors. PLC trouble shooting skills (Knowledge on programing Allen Bradley PLCs a plus). Experience with pneumatic / gear pumps and equipment a plus. Awareness of lock out/tag out procedures.
