What we are looking for:
Preventative Maintenance:
Develop and implement a robust preventative maintenance program to reduce unexpected breakdowns and increase equipment reliability.
Equipment Maintenance & Repair:
Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of production machinery, electrical systems, HVAC, and facility infrastructure.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians across four shifts, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Downtime Reduction:
Analyze equipment performance, identify recurring issues, and implement solutions to reduce unplanned downtime.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards, along with internal quality and safety policies.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, control costs, and track expenditures for repairs, parts, and labor.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
Work with external vendors for contracted maintenance services and procurement of spare parts.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with Engineering and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime analysis, and parts inventory using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Skill:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus. Certifications (Preferred): OSHA 30,
Six Sigma Software Proficiency:
Familiarity with CMMS software and Microsoft Office.
Leadership & Problem-Solving:
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to make quick, data-driven decisions.
