Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to lead the Maintenance operations of a well-established skilled nursing facility. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on maintenance expertise along with proven management or supervisory experience in a long term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems Lead, train, and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring accountability and high performance Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including life safety and survey readiness Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs Coordinate and manage outside vendors and contractors Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and compliance activities Partner with leadership to support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residentsQualifications:
Prior experience as a Maintenance Director (or similar leadership role) required Supervisory or management experience is a must Experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or long-term care setting strongly preferred Strong knowledge of building systems, life safety codes, and regulatory requirements Ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and respond quickly to facility needs On-call availability for emergencies as neededWhat We Offer:
