Job Description:
A leading manufacturing organization in the northwest suburbs is looking for a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to lead a technical team and drive equipment reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement across a sophisticated manufacturing operation. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineering or maintenance leader who enjoys being both strategic and hands-on. You'll oversee maintenance and engineering activities, lead capital improvement projects, support the commissioning of new equipment, and work closely with production to improve reliability, capacity, and efficiency.

Lead a team of engineers, engineering technicians, and maintenance professionals Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-focused maintenance strategies Lead capital projects from concept through implementation Support the commissioning and integration of new automation and manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues and drive root-cause solutions Work with high-speed, continuous motion, and robotic assembly equipment Partner with production and other technical teams to improve uptime and operational performance Opportunity to make a visible impact on both people and plant performance We're looking for someone with a B.S. in Engineering or a related technical field and 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, along with experience leading technical teams and projects. Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, PLCs, or machine vision is a plus.
