Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facility Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of facilities maintenance within our organization. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and other facility infrastructure. Oversee repairs of HVAC systems, electrical wiring (including high voltage and low voltage systems), plumbing systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Manage facilities maintenance management software (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA by conducting safety audits, training staff on safety procedures, and maintaining proper documentation. Diagnose issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters; perform electrical testing on high voltage and low voltage circuits. Coordinate projects involving facilities upgrades or repairs while managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities following established repair procedures; review schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Monitor the condition of mechanical systems through regular inspections; perform repairs or coordinate specialized services as needed. Promote a culture of safety awareness among team members by enforcing safety regulations and best practices. Bilingual (Spanish and English) Experience Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams within industrial or large commercial environments. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance. Strong background in electrical systems troubleshooting including high voltage and low voltage circuits; experience with voltmeters and ohmmeters required. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to facilities management; experience conducting safety audits preferred. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience managing facilities maintenance management systems (CMMS) to streamline work order processing. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management, training, and fostering a safe working environment. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective team coordination.
