142-Bed Skilled Nursing Facility We're looking for a Director of Maintenance who takes pride in their building and is looking for a place to stay and grow long-term. What You'll Own As our Director of Maintenance, you'll oversee the day-to-day maintenance and physical plant operations of our 142-bed skilled nursing community while supervising and providing direction to a Maintenance Aide.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Conduct routine inspections and identify concerns before they become larger problems. Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs and schedules. Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency, resident needs, safety, and facility operations. Perform and oversee routine repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects. Supervise and support the Maintenance Aide. Coordinate with nursing, administration, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure maintenance needs are addressed efficiently. Manage vendors, maintenance projects, schedules, and department expenses. Maintain required maintenance records, inspections, and documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable Life Safety, state, federal, healthcare, and building requirements. Participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule for urgent maintenance needs. What We're Looking For Previous maintenance experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), nursing home, Assisted Living, or other long-term care environment is required. Hands-on maintenance experience within a nursing home, SNF, Assisted Living, or long-term care setting. Understanding of the unique maintenance, safety, and regulatory expectations of a resident-care environment. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Previous supervisory or maintenance leadership experience preferred. Ability to organize and prioritize competing needs, including determining what requires immediate attention. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential problems. Ability to work independently and take ownership of the department. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other department leaders. Enjoys working around residents and understands the importance of maintaining a safe and comfortable home for them. Dependable and interested in finding a long-term opportunity with a community and team. Compensation & Schedule $55,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience. Typical schedule is 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, with participation in a rotating weekend on-call schedule.
