Job Description

Trotter Landscape Company is looking for a dependable, hands-on Working Crew Lead to join our team. This person will work under our Production / Employee Lead , while helping lead daily installation and maintenance work in the field. What you'll do Work alongside the crew on landscape installation and maintenance projects. Help lead daily job-site activities, priorities, and production. Perform planting, mulching, sod installation, bed preparation, trimming, cleanup, and related landscape work. Assist with hardscape, drainage, irrigation, and outdoor improvement projects. Safely operate and care for trucks, trailers, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other equipment. Help organize materials, tools, and equipment before leaving for the job. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site. Communicate job-site needs, changes, and customer concerns to Aiden. Help train newer crew members by setting a good example and teaching proper methods. What we're looking for Landscape installation or maintenance experience. Someone who is willing to work with their hands and lead by example. Dependability, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Ability to work outdoors in changing weather. Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical landscape work. Good communication and a positive attitude. Valid driver's license preferred. Experience operating landscape equipment is a plus. Experience leading or training others is a plus. Growth opportunity This role is designed for someone who may eventually grow into a Crew Lead or Foreman position.
