Job Summary As a Maintenance Director , you will work under the general direction of the facility Administrator and with oversight from the Regional Facilities Director. Your primary responsibilities include managing the overall maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds, performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.
Pay Rate Pay Rate:
$50,000-$68,500 annually

Overseeing maintenance assistant staff productivity, schedules, and performance. Handling work order requests on a daily basis. Performing routine and emergency maintenance that does not require specialty vendors. Participating in an on-call rotation (24 hours a day) for emergency maintenance needs. Directing routine janitorial duties to keep the building and grounds clean and neat. Coordinating snow removal and landscaping tasks not handled by outside contractors. Performing routine inspections of the building's interior and exterior. Managing mandatory annual facility inspections and completing required documentation. Delivering the highest quality of customer service to residents. Managing maintenance supplies, monitoring inventory, and ordering as needed. Maintaining oversight of the dumpster area and monitoring trash pickup. Performing other duties as assigned to support facility operations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills To excel as a Maintenance Director , you will need: Excellent communication skills and a compassion for older adults. Basic technology skills. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, and general repair or renovation skills. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and electronically. Prior maintenance experience (required). Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, you will: Regularly stand, talk, bend, stretch, pull, push, and lift items. Require specific vision abilities, including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
