Where you'll work Our Evansville, IN, location is part of our Coatings division, and creates various breading, batter, and coating blends for Kerry brands and customers. We are part of the Evansville Local Labor Union 561, and we are located at 1515 Park Street, Evansville, IN. Shift Information 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday 200PM - 1030PM, possible daily overtime and weekend overtime. What you'll do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll support plant operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment while helping lead the team when needed. Important areas of operations you'll work on Support shift maintenance operations Lead and train maintenance team members Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment Perform electrical, controls, and PLC work Complete PMs and work orders Fabricate, weld, and modify equipment Maintain safety, quality, and food safety standards What you'll need to be successful Education & Experience 2‑year degree in Industrial Technology or Advanced Manufacturing (preferred) 5+ years of maintenance experience Food manufacturing experience preferred Technical Skills Advanced mechanical repair and general welding Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting skills PLC troubleshooting and programming experience Ability to work with low‑voltage DC and 120/240/480V AC systems Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems What Sets You Apart Ability to work independently or collaboratively Strong problem‑solving skills with a logical, solutions‑driven approach Comfortable working closely with production teams Willingness to step into a leadership role when needed Compensation Data The pay rate for this position is $28.45 per hour.
