In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of automotive repair and maintenance. Your energetic leadership will drive the success of the service center, foster a positive team environment, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge with management skills to deliver outstanding automotive solutions. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the automotive service center, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery Lead and motivate a team of technicians, service advisors, and support staff to meet performance goals Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Manage customer interactions by providing excellent service writing, explaining repair estimates, and upselling additional services or vehicle accessories to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee auto estimating processes for repairs and services Monitor inventory levels for parts and supplies while coordinating with vendors to ensure timely availability of necessary components Requirements Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Hands-on mechanic experience or technical knowledge in automotive repair including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, alignments, suspensions, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body work Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Experience in auto estimating software and service writing processes Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of automotive sales processes including vehicle sales techniques is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory Join us as an Assistant Manager Automotive Service Center where your energy fuels our success!
