Maintenance Supervisor Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of maintenance technicians on 3rd shift in a food production and packaging environment. This leadership role focuses on industrial maintenance, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency, while fostering team development and ensuring safe, consistent performance of production equipment and facility systems. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians across the assigned 3rd shift. Oversee routine and emergency maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure reliable operation. Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts for electrical systems, including 240V and 480V circuits. Guide the team in basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of PLCs to minimize downtime. Ensure proper maintenance, setup, and functionality of case packers and case erectors. Manage maintenance operations for freezers, ovens, and fryers, maintaining food safety and equipment integrity. Monitor equipment performance and implement preventive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned outages. Support robotic systems, including Fanuc robots, through maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Coordinate facilities and general maintenance activities to keep the plant operating safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work with minimal impact on production. Promote and enforce safety practices and compliance with facility and hygiene standards during all maintenance activities. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for equipment, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding experience for repair and fabrication of equipment components. HVAC maintenance experience, including troubleshooting and servicing systems. Robotic maintenance experience, particularly with Fanuc or similar industrial robots. Experience working in cleanroom or controlled-environment production facilities. Ability to implement and improve preventive maintenance strategies. Comfort working with industrial robotics and automation systems. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates in a cleanroom production environment maintained at a consistent temperature. The role is on 3rd shift and requires adherence to strict safety and hygiene standards. Proper attire is required, including a hairnet, cleanroom coat, and steel-toed boots, to ensure both personal safety and compliance with cleanliness and food safety protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
