TANK MAINTENANCE MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION
Tank Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
The Tank Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the inspection, repair, and maintenance of various types of tanks used in industrial or commercial settings. The Tank Maintenance Manager ensures compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards while managing a team of technicians. The Tank Maintenance Manager reports directly to the General Manager. Tank Maintenance Technician duties will include, but are not limited to: Inspect and approve the quality of equipment being assembled for loan or sale Manage staff, train team and monitor production and performance Meet regularly with tank maintenance team to assess, analyze and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity Communicate and maintain a positive working relationship with clients, vendors, suppliers and customers Oversee dispatching, inventory and receiving Maintain an accurate inventory database Prepare documents of daily tank deliveries, tank pickups and repairs Maintain EPA rules and standards along with quarterly yard inspections Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse Rotate on call duty for weekends and holidays
Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Five (5) years of experience in tank maintenance or related field Welding and fabrication skills with ability to perform basic metal work Experience in tank inspection and maintenance Basic electrical knowledge Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Valid Driver s
License Preferred Skills:
API 653
Certification Hours:
The Tank Maintenance Manager is a full time position and works a minimum of 40 hours per week

The Tank Maintenance Manager is an exempt, salaried position
