Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our facilities maintenance operations. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our manufacturing or industrial site. Your leadership will ensure that all equipment and facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse team of technicians and craft a proactive maintenance culture that minimizes downtime and maximizes operational productivity. Duties Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to maintenance repair procedures and safety regulations. Develop, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and high/low voltage equipment. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance schedules, inventory, and asset records. Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems repair, electrical systems, HVAC system repair, and industrial maintenance tasks using schematics, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools. Coordinate projects related to facilities management including upgrades, repairs, and installations while managing timelines and budgets. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards by conducting safety audits, training staff on safety procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety inspections, equipment repairs, and facility conditions for audit purposes. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems repair, plumbing system maintenance, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and safety training delivery.
