Role Overview The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of 2 Maintenance Technicians within an assigned region of a multifamily real estate portfolio. This individual will play a critical role in coaching technicians, maintaining operational integrity across properties, and optimizing costs, timelines, and resident satisfaction in close collaboration with Property Managers and the Maintenance Director. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee work order completion, quality control, vendor management, and maintenance scheduling strategies that maximize asset value while supporting organizational goals and operational best practices. Qualifications The Regional Maintenance Supervisor must have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in multifamily property maintenance. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively support, train, and guide maintenance teams across multiple properties while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, safety, and customer service. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, dependable, cost-conscious, and able to prioritize multiple projects and service needs across an assigned region. The Regional Maintenance Supervisor must be skilled in diagnosing and overseeing complex maintenance repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, building systems, unit turns, and preventive maintenance . This position will assist with difficult service issues, provide hands-on technical support when necessary, and ensure maintenance teams complete work accurately, efficiently, and to company standards. Strong computer and technology skills are a must. Candidates must be proficient in AppFolio, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs , with the ability to effectively use these platforms for work-order management, reporting, documentation, scheduling, tracking, and communication. This position is also responsible for supporting property maintenance operations, monitoring work orders, unit turns, preventive maintenance, and property standards , assisting with the training and development of maintenance personnel, and ensuring teams have the tools, materials, and resources necessary to succeed. The Regional Maintenance Supervisor must be willing and able to travel between assigned properties and step in wherever needed to support the maintenance teams and the overall success of the region. Required Skills HVAC Universal Certification and strong computer skills, including proficiency with AppFolio, Microsoft Excel, and Google Docs. Preferred Skills Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Service Manager, Regional Service Technician, or equivalent multifamily maintenance leadership experience.
