A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Doing:
This position supports Electronics & Telecommunications operations by scoping, planning, scheduling, and monitoring maintenance work to maximize efficiency and support reliable campus operations. This role is responsible for inspecting job sites and developing detailed job plans and advance work schedules to accurately estimate labor hours, staffing needs, and materials required for execution. The Maintenance Planner reviews and prioritizes work requests submitted by campus customers to ensure timely and effective completion. As the primary point of contact for planned maintenance work orders, this position communicates regularly with customers and supervisors to provide updates on job status and scheduling. The role also utilizes SAP Plant Maintenance to create, track, code, and close work orders. This position requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced maintenance environment. The typical work schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Apply Today!
