Position Overview:
Under general supervision responsible for managing maintenance personnel and directing maintenance activities of plant equipment and facility services relating to new construction, remodeling, modifications, maintenance, and rearrangement of buildings, equipment, fixtures and systems ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, rules, regulations, laws and organizational standards for the DUF6 project. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Functional:
Manages maintenance personnel assigned to the conversion plant Directs, schedules, and coordinates maintenance activities of plant equipment Performs work based on dispatched service or daily/weekly schedule Maintains and troubleshoots facility systems, facility system repairs, and maintenance of standards Aids in the development of new or unusual solutions based on advanced principles within the facilities and construction trades as guided by plan, schedule, and budget Interfaces closely with plant management, engineering, and external contractors, subcontractors and vendors with respect to maintenance activities Prepares and presents reports reflecting schedule progress, cost analysis, and forecast Maintains maintenance data including property lists, maintenance status and maintenance schedules Supervises acquisition, storage and tracking of spare parts and maintenance supplies Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures Join a team where your contributions matter and your development is valued. minimum requirements) High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required 3+ years of nuclear experience Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12)
