Serving two primary markets - passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Job Purpose The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the overall maintenance strategy and operations within the automotive manufacturing facility to ensure optimal equipment performance, minimal downtime, and safe working conditions. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manages maintenance personnel, and collaborates with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement and long-term asset reliability. The Maintenance Manager plays a key role in aligning maintenance activities with business objectives, budget targets, and regulatory compliance. Job Duties and Responsibilities Create and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and support production efficiency.

Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of maintenance staff.

Allocate labor and resources effectively across shifts and departments.

Maintain adherence to OSHA, environmental regulations, and internal safety policies.

Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and root cause analysis of recurring issues.

Track maintenance metrics such as downtime, response time, and cost efficiency.

Use data to identify trends and implement initiatives that improve asset performance and reduce costs. Education and Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of applicable experience

10+ years of experience

Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities while maintaining equipment reliability and operational performance.

Manage maintenance operations and spare parts inventories to support production equipment uptime and minimize downtime risks.

Ensure reliable operation of facility infrastructure systems including electrical distribution, compressed air, HVAC, water systems, and plant utilities.

Lead structured problem-solving activities utilizing Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why, Fishbone, 8D, or similar methodologies. Skills Strong ability to develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, combined with deep technical knowledge of industrial equipment, automation systems, and manufacturing processes.

Proven leadership skills to manage diverse maintenance teams, drive performance, and collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and safety departments.
