Job Description

Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Pay:
$65,000-$75,000
Annually Schedule:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor oversees and performs general maintenance operations across campus properties. This includes plumbing, electrical work, painting, carpentry, heating systems, boiler maintenance, groundskeeping, snow and ice removal, and more. The role involves supervising maintenance staff, coordinating work orders, and ensuring safe, efficient operations of all physical structures and grounds. On-call responsibilities are required.

Paid Holidays Accrued Paid Sick Time What You'll Do:
Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and groundskeeping teams. Perform and oversee repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other trades. Respond to maintenance calls and complete work orders using maintenance software. Maintain grounds and roads, including seasonal tasks like snow removal and lawn care. Conduct safety checks on equipment such as fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and alarm systems. Set up facilities for events and functions. Ensure compliance with safety standards and MSDS guidelines. Maintain accurate records of work orders, materials, and costs. Travel to properties across MA, RI, and NH as needed. Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years of related experience and/or training; or minimum of Certificate of Achievement from public high school or equivalent and a minimum of three years of job related experience and/or training required. Must have knowledge of the standard practices in the building trades; plumbing; carpentry; electrical; masonry; painting; welding refrigeration and air conditioning; and mechanical trades. Must have knowledge of safety measures and occupational hazards of the trade. Must have supervisory experience including demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organize, assign, and approve or otherwise supervise the work of unskilled and skilled craft workers.
