  • Key Responsibilities & Duties Support and lead maintenance operations alongside the Maintenance Manager Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair high-speed packaging and processing equipment Perform electrical troubleshooting on 110/230/460V systems (motors, relays, panels, wiring) Conduct and schedule preventive maintenance and issue work orders Troubleshoot and perform minor PLC programming adjustments Maintain and repair conveyors, wrappers, cartoners, case packers, and related equipment Support facility maintenance including plumbing, lighting, and building systems Train employees on equipment safety, lifts, and welding practices Assist with wastewater system operations and coverage as needed Coordinate and monitor third-party contractors Ensure compliance with safety programs including LOTO and OSHA standards Maintain equipment readiness to support uninterrupted production Fabricate parts and modify equipment as needed Communicate effectively across departments and leadership Qualifications•Needed High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Strong background in food manufacturing (USDA or FDA environments) Experience with high-speed packaging and conveyor systems Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and PLCs Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics Experience with preventive maintenance systems and scheduling Strong understanding of safety protocols (LOTO, OSHA) Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus A bit about us:•Founded decades ago and based in Brockton, MA, with additional operations supporting large-scale food production, they are a leading food manufacturing and packaging organization focused on quality, safety, and operational excellence.
