ESSEX HOUSING AUTHORITY POSITION AVAILABLE DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCE

The Essex Housing Authority is seeking a highly motivated person to fill the part-time Director of Maintenance role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for overseeing all maintenance functions, planning, projects, operations, contractors; Maintains all buildings and grounds owned by the Agency in accordance to State guidelines and policy; Responsible for responding to off-hours emergencies; Required to have general knowledge and skills in electrical, mechanical, snow removal, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, grounds maintenance; Understanding of State Sanitary code and ability to interpret housing regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

When on 24 hr. call must always be within a 30-minute drive of the EHA development. Must be in good physical health, possess a valid MA Driver�??s License, have reliable transportation and be able to lift 70 lb objects. Trade licenses/certifications highly desirable. Full Benefits. 20hrs/wk.

Compensation:

$36. 72/per hour. Position open till November 2, 2026, or until filled.
