About the Role As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a key technical lead responsible for optimizing equipment reliability and streamlining maintenance workflows. You will bridge the gap between production goals and technical execution by managing preventive maintenance schedules and coordinating critical repair activities to minimize operational downtime. Responsibilities Coordinate and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks to align with high-volume production schedules. Develop and document detailed work instructions and safety protocols to ensure efficient equipment performance. Manage the procurement of replacement parts and contract services to maintain a seamless supply chain for repairs. Analyze labor requirements and resource allocation to maximize the effectiveness of the maintenance team. Facilitate cross-departmental planning meetings to synchronize maintenance activities with operational needs. Utilize CMMS software to track equipment health, manage work orders, and update maintenance procedures. Oversee contractor activities during scheduled shutdowns to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience. 3+ years of experience in high-speed, automated, or lean manufacturing environments. Proven proficiency in managing maintenance workflows via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Strong ability to interpret complex technical schematics and mechanical diagrams. Demonstrated success in proactive problem-solving and leading technical equipment resolutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively between technical and operational teams. Preferred Skills Advanced knowledge of Megamation CMMS modules, specifically for planning and inventory management. Experience managing large-scale maintenance projects or facility shutdowns. Background in continuous improvement methodologies within a technical maintenance setting.
