We are looking for someone with hands-on commercial landscape maintenance experience who can work alongside the crew while taking responsibility for quality, productivity, equipment, and the properties assigned to them. This is a hands-on position—not just a supervisory role. The Crew Leader will perform landscape maintenance work alongside the crew while making sure each property is completed safely, efficiently, and to our standards. Responsibilities Lead a small landscape maintenance crew on commercial and residential properties Perform mowing, string trimming, edging, blowing, shrub pruning, mulching, cleanups, and general landscape maintenance Safely operate commercial zero-turn/stand-on mowers and other landscape equipment Drive a company truck while towing and backing a landscape trailer Assign tasks and keep the crew working efficiently throughout the day Inspect completed properties for quality before leaving Follow daily routes, schedules, and job instructions Perform basic equipment inspections and help keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized Communicate professionally with customers and management Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements Participate in commercial snow and ice operations during the winter as needed Qualifications At least 1 year of landscape maintenance crew leader or foreman experience preferred Commercial mowing and landscape maintenance experience required Experience with shrub trimming and pruning Experience operating commercial mowing and landscape equipment Valid driver's license required Must be comfortable driving a work truck and towing/backing a landscape trailer Ability to lead by example and work alongside the crew Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to perform the physical requirements of landscape maintenance work Must be willing to complete a background check DOT medical card or ability to obtain one is a plus What We Offer $23-$26 per hour , based on experience and ability Weekly pay Paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan with company match Company uniforms Boot allowance after eligibility period Snow removal opportunities during winter Training and opportunities for advancement
