Job Description
ACE Construction Services voted Best Places to work 4 years running, is seeking a skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our Commercial Painting team. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the commercial painting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills. Requirements of the
Painting Superintendent:
- 3+ years of commercial painting experience
- Ability to go to job site and arrive before the crew
- Valid Maine Driver's License
- Knowledge of standard commercial painting application methods and practices of paints, varnishes, lacquers, urethanes, enamels, epoxies, paint removers and their properties
- Effective supervisory and leadership practices
- Experience working with customers and other contractors in a professional manner.
- Experience completing projects on time and on budget
- Experience with different types of staging, scaffolding, ladders and man/boom lifts and the safety requirements of each
OSHA 10 & 30
Ideal- Rules, laws, ordinances, and codes relevant to the construction/painting industry
- Perform heavy physical labor
- Ability to haul trailers and move equipment as necessary for job site coordination and work.
