What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play an essential role in keeping our apartment community safe, beautiful, and operating at its best. You'll be responsible for completing service requests, preparing apartments for new residents, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property.
Responsibilities include:
Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner Prepare apartments for new move-ins, ensuring every home meets company quality standards Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, carpentry, and other building systems Maintain the curb appeal and overall appearance of the property Assist with inventory management and organization of maintenance supplies Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies Participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call schedule Deliver outstanding customer service and communicate professionally with residents and team members What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and approaches every challenge with a positive attitude. Qualifications:
Previous apartment maintenance experience required Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance Some experience in HVAC equipment is a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why Join Modli Management?
