POSITION

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our Arden Hills, MN location.

SCOPE OF POSITION

Provide daily support to the Operations Manager as well as guidance for maintenance personnel to achieve the company's strategic plan through proper training and staff development.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that is appropriate for the task and required by policy. Assure proper housekeeping is maintained and follows all SQF requirements and General Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Within the limits of food safety and quality guidelines, the employee has authority to take action and make decisions. Ensure quality checks, tests, and procedures are carried out as required and follow all SQF requirements. Repair all plant equipment as directed on maintenance work requests or by the Supervisor and document completion. Communicate the status of repairs to the oncoming shift and Supervisor. Responsible for logging out all equipment/parts needed to repair equipment. Must monitor the condition of company and Maintenance Department tools to ensure proper and safe working condition. Responsible for determining parts needed to repair equipment and communicating to the Management Systems Coordinator for order placement. Must work safely at all times and follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout. Complete training as required. All other job-related duties as assigned
