About the Position We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead our second-shift maintenance operations and help ensure our motorcoach fleet is safe, reliable, and ready for service. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate service technicians and wash bay staff. Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vehicle readiness. Coordinate outside repair facilities, road service, towing, and other vendors. Assist technicians with diagnostics, priorities, and repair support. Monitor quality, safety, productivity, and compliance with DOT and company standards. Review breakdowns, maintenance trends, and preventive maintenance intervals. Serve as the primary maintenance contact for Dispatch regarding vehicle status and availability. Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager regarding parts, inventory, staffing, and priorities. Coach, mentor, and evaluate maintenance employees. Respond to maintenance emergencies and changing operational needs. Qualifications 3-5 years of relevant fleet, diesel, or heavy-duty maintenance experience. At least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience. Diesel equipment technology or technical school training preferred. CDL Class A or B preferred; willingness to obtain required licensing. DOT certification preferred; willingness to obtain. Knowledge of DOT, motor carrier, and workplace safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Work Environment This is an in-person, second-shift position in a fleet maintenance environment. The role may involve exposure to noise, fumes, chemicals, moving mechanical equipment, and varying weather conditions. Employees may occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
