Duties Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Manage facilities maintenance teams by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing mentorship to foster a high-performing work environment. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime and longevity. Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on complex mechanical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage circuits—and HVAC units. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations by conducting safety audits, enforcing safety procedures, and maintaining accurate safety documentation. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately; utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for precise measurements during troubleshooting. Lead project management efforts for facility upgrades or repairs by planning schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely completion while adhering to safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repair procedures, inspections, and safety compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements. Requirements Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams within a healthcare or similar environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, electrical systems troubleshooting—including high voltage—plumbing system maintenance and repair. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and facilities management software such as CMMS. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to industrial maintenance and healthcare facilities' safety standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in English for clear coordination with team members and vendors. Ability to operate testing tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical diagnostic equipment effectively. Experience managing high voltage electrical systems safely; understanding of low voltage systems is also essential.
