About the
Role:
Honda of Indian Trail is seeking a high-performing, results-driven Service Manager to lead and grow our busy service department. This is a dynamic leadership role for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is committed to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of a high-volume service department generating 2,000+ customer pay repair orders (CP ROs) per month Lead, mentor, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff Drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability while maintaining top-tier customer satisfaction scores Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including CSI, RO count, hours per RO, and effective labor rate Ensure compliance with all manufacturer standards and dealership policies Collaborate with parts and sales departments to maximize overall dealership performance Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager in a high-volume dealership Strong leadership and team-building skills Experience managing 2,000+ CP ROs per month preferred Familiarity with CDK Global DMS required Honda experience strongly preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service
