Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Maintenance Director to lead our facilities, maintenance teams. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and safety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our properties. Your leadership will ensure that all facilities operate efficiently, comply with safety regulations, and meet the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex projects and foster a proactive maintenance culture that enhances tenant satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, managing daily operations and ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures for mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and high/low voltage electrical systems. Oversee the scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion within budget. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections, maintaining safety documentation, and training staff on safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inventory levels, and equipment performance for continuous improvement. Skills Proven management experience leading facilities maintenance teams in a manufacturing or property management environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in HVAC system repair, electrical systems (including high/low voltage), plumbing maintenance, and industrial maintenance procedures. Experience with HUD and USDA related requirements, inspections regimes, and procedures are preferred. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and experience implementing safety procedures across facilities. Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently while managing budgets and timelines. Excellent communication skills in English for team leadership and vendor coordination. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
