Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hardscape Crew Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of hardscape construction projects. In this role, you will lead a team of skilled craftsmen to deliver high-quality outdoor living spaces, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry features. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Duties Lead and supervise a crew of hardscape specialists, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication equipment to execute masonry and concrete work. Read and interpret drawings to guide project execution. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow and communication. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control and adherence to design plans. Winter snow removal. Team leadership. Experience Proven experience in construction site management with a focus on hardscape or masonry projects. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication techniques relevant to hardscape installation. Familiarity with construction inspection procedures ensuring quality standards are met consistently. Background in related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), roofing, plastering, welding, or restoration is a plus. Strong understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as they relate to outdoor features is advantageous. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining safety protocols on active job sites.
