Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary Walther Electric is seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of multiple leased properties located within a five-mile radius of our Somerset, New Jersey headquarters. This position is a critical role within the organization and directly supports Walther Electric's continued growth in the distribution of cable assemblies and power distribution units (PDUs). The Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor will ensure all facilities remain safe, functional, professional, and aligned with the operational needs of the business. The successful candidate will provide leadership and daily direction to the Facility Care Associate while working closely with the Human Resources Manager to establish priorities, manage facility initiatives, coordinate vendors, and ensure all locations maintain the highest standards of safety and appearance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Facility Maintenance Perform and oversee preventative, routine, and corrective maintenance activities across all company properties. Maintain and repair building systems including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, doors, locks, flooring, furniture, and general infrastructure. Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance concerns, safety risks, and improvement opportunities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility emergencies. Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records. Ensure all facilities remain operational and support business continuity. Property Appearance and Cleaning Oversee cleanliness and organization of office, warehouse, manufacturing support, common areas, restrooms, break rooms, and exterior grounds. Establish and monitor cleaning schedules and standards. Assist with cleaning responsibilities when necessary. Ensure facilities present a professional image to employees, customers, and visitors. Supervision and Leadership Provide daily leadership and direction to the Facility Care Associate. Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure work is completed effectively and safely. Vendor and Contractor Management Coordinate and supervise outside contractors, service providers, and maintenance vendors. Obtain quotes and recommendations for repairs and facility improvement projects. Monitor contractor performance and ensure work is completed according to company standards. Safety and Compliance Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety programs. Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential hazards. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of facility equipment and systems. Assist with emergency preparedness and response activities. Facility Improvement Projects Participate in facility upgrades, renovations, and improvement initiatives. Assist with office moves, equipment installations, and workspace modifications. Recommend cost-effective solutions to improve facility efficiency, safety, and appearance. Support long-term facility planning to accommodate company growth. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Bi-Lingual is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of facility maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel between company properties daily. Preferred OSHA training certification a plus. Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial facilities. Experience managing vendors and maintenance contracts. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of facility maintenance practices and building systems. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair techniques. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities across various locations. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic facility management software. Physical Requirements Frequently walk between buildings and throughout facility grounds. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to respond to occasional after-hours facility emergencies. Compensation and Benefits Salary $80,000 - $100,000 annually , commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Monthly Vehicle Allowance:

Because this role requires regular travel between multiple Walther Electric properties, the Maintenance Supervisor will receive a monthly vehicle allowance to support transportation expenses associated with company business. This role directly impacts employee productivity, workplace safety, customer impressions, and the company's ability to scale effectively. Pay:

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
