Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities across our facilities. This vital role involves managing maintenance repair procedures, supervising facilities maintenance teams, and ensuring all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely. The Maintenance Coordinator will play a key role in implementing safety regulations, managing facilities management projects, and maintaining high standards of industrial maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance operations with energy and precision, ensuring our facilities remain safe, reliable, and compliant with OSHA standards. Responsibilities Coordinate daily maintenance activities, including mechanical systems repair, electrical systems troubleshooting, plumbing system maintenance, and HVAC system repair. Supervise and manage facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenance tasks. Develop and implement maintenance repair procedures following safety regulations and industry best practices. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to schedule work orders, track maintenance history, and manage inventory. Read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems effectively. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Conduct engineering troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics and ensure high voltage/low voltage systems are maintained safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations by conducting safety audits, maintaining safety documentation, and promoting a safety-first culture among staff. Oversee plumbing system repairs and routine inspections to prevent leaks or failures. Lead team management efforts by supervising staff performance, providing training on maintenance repair procedures, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Experience Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with supervisory responsibilities. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Experience working with HVAC systems including repair, maintenance, and system diagnostics. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes. Experience managing facilities maintenance teams using CMMS platforms for work order management. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Electrical experience including working with high voltage/low voltage systems using tools like ohmmeters for diagnostics.
